“The desire to succeed must be accompanied by the will to prepare.”
Coach Gene Veit
More important to Veit than any awards and recognitions, were his players. Coach Veit not only taught his players the game of football, he coached them in the game of life. He felt a responsibility to his players to motivate them to be as good as they can be on the football field, in the classroom, and as young men in society.
In memory of Coach Gene Veit, the Case Alumni ‘C’ Club established the Gein Veit Scholarship Fund. This scholarship is awarded to one male and one female athlete with the highest academic honors.
Thanks to your alumni contributions, Coach Veit will continue to assist young athletes to prepare for success.
